The newly appointed Member of New Zealand Order of Merit (MNZM) and INZBC Chair Sameer Handa said that in wake of new realities that have emerged over the past year, ‘Action’ will be the key at the Indian New Zealand Business Council’s first hybrid summit to be held in Auckland on 23-24 June. Mr Handa said its time to examine the new “decade of action” at the coming annual conference. Indian High Commissioner to New Zealand Muktesh Pardeshi is slotted to be one of the keynote speakers at the hybrid summit.

Handa further said,” in the changed new world order both India and New Zealand are well-positioned to work and strive together for mutual benefit” He further said “keeping this in mind the INZBC now aims to make the theme of upcoming annual summit into a “decade of Action for the New Zealand-India relationship”

“The aim is to provide a meaningful and deeper dialogue at diplomatic level by moving the discussions away solely from Free Trade Agreement or FTA and to find new, innovative ways to collaborate on diplomacy and trade”

The attendees will get to interact with each other face to face on the first day of the summit, at The Trusts Arena in Henderson while the second day will be entirely virtual and link to the virtual summit will be sent to attendees upon registration.
