Indian Association Manukau celebrated the 400th Birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji on 31st July. The event was dedicated to the life and the teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. It was an opportunity to bring together people from all walks of life and commemorate the values and guidance given to the mankind by the Guru.
The event started with the Shabad by Surjeet Singh Sachdeva and the team.
It was an absolute delight to see kids participating and sharing about the learnings of the Guru Sahib.
It was presented by three groups elucidating how their life is blessed with the pious word of the Guru Sahib. The kids from different age groups gathered and shared their experiences and thoughts with everyone.
Community leaders like Mr.Prithipal Singh Basra, Mr. Daljit Singh, Mr.Navtej Randhawa from radio spice and Mr. Veer Khar spoke about the glory and compassion of Guru Tegh bahadur Ji.
Everyone reiterated the common sentiment of imbibing the values of Guru in our everyday life.
Dr. Primla Khar and the General Secretary Aman Kharbanda also emphasized the importance of Guru’s teachings in our lives. They also thanked the guests for participating and sharing their knowledge with everyone.
